I won't be using this car park again. I appreciate the two hours free parking. In reality, one does not have two hours to shop. There is a major problem in the length of time it takes to exit the car park, especially during busy periods and peak traffic times. The last time I used the car park I returned to my car with a couple of minutes to spare. This was a few days before Christmas, There was a long slow moving queue to exit the car park. By the time I I reached the exit camera I was over the two hour period and incurred a penalty charge notice. I appealed but Smart Parking decided to uphold the penalty charge. I will park, and therefore shop, elsewhere in future.
